The Department of Law and Business at HKSYU, in collaboration with the HKSMMTA, hosted the Hong Kong Inter-School Mediation Competition 2025 with 16 secondary schools taking part. According to the 2025 Asia University Rankings released by the International Higher Education Information Service (QS), Hong Kong Shue Yan University ranked 342, up from 351st to 400th last year. The management of the University was very encouraged and thanked all stakeholders for their efforts.

The AIA Foundation awarded the fourth round of AIA Scholarships to outstanding university students in Hong Kong on October 7, 2024. 14 students from Shue Yan University received this Scholarship, including four first-year students who were invited to the ceremony to celebrate their academic excellence and contributions to society.
Bevan YIP, a Year 4 Finance and Technology student from Department of Economics and Finance of HKSYU, undertakes a credit-bearing internship at Kowloon Shangri-La for two months in 2024 summer. The internship enhanced his practical and technical skills, and solidified his passion for financial technology.
HSBC celebrated 284 outstanding students from 20 local universities and higher education institutions at the “HSBC Scholars Day 2024” on July 20,2024, held at the HSBC Main Building. A total of 13 outstanding Shue Yan students have received scholarships, in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and development.
