According to the 2025 Asia University Rankings released by the International Higher Education Information Service (QS), Hong Kong Shue Yan University ranked 342, up from 351st to 400th last year. The management of the University was very encouraged and thanked all stakeholders for their efforts.

The session on November 11, titled “The Future Development of Caregiving Policy and Practice in Hong Kong: International Perspectives and Local Initiatives,” was successfully held at the HKSYU campus.

Both the Captain of woman's team and vice-captain of men's team were selected to participate in the volleyball training and exchange programme with Thailand.
The Language Centre has launched four free chatbots on various AI platform. The latest "Multilingual Translation Assistant" provides three versions, allowing users to choose the most suitable translation.

HSBC celebrated 284 outstanding students from 20 local universities and higher education institutions at the “HSBC Scholars Day 2024” on July 20,2024, held at the HSBC Main Building.
