An all-round education in English studies including
areas of Cultural Stuides, Literature, Linguistics and Translation.
The programme provides broad educational exposure which encourages bilingual competence and multicultural sensitivity and development. Apart from strengthening students’ productive skills in written and spoken English, we also encourage students’ exploration of cultural heritages through critical analyses of English language and literatures in English. By means of the educationally generalist programme, we stimulate students’ intellectual growth and initiate them to adopt an interdisciplinary approach to knowledge in a web-like and complex 21st century.
There are four areas in this programme which are Literature, Linguistics, Translation and Cultural Studies.
Please refer to the Admission Page for details of the admission requirements and application procedures.
